The Physician Assistant History Society and the National Library of Medicine are proud to unveil their joint project: “Physician Assistants: Collaboration and Care”, a traveling banner and online exhibition.
The Physician Assistants: Collaboration and Care exhibition shows how the profession developed and how it continues to evolve today. The banner exhibition will travel across the country over the next five years (2017-2021). It is available to be featured at PA programs, hospitals, medical libraries, and public libraries. If you are interested in hosting the banners for a six-week period, please contact the PA History Society! Each venue is responsible for paying shipping and handling of the exhibit to its next destination.
The online component to the exhibition offers resources for educators and students. It includes lesson plans for middle-high school classrooms, a higher education module, online activities, and a selection of related links and suggested readings. The online exhibit may be visited here!
We are very excited that this project has finally come to fruition and are looking forward to watching the banner travel across the United States to inspire a future generation of PAs!
